These new graphics cards seem more catered towards computational workstation processes, is this true? What opinions do you have on this card for CAD (Solidworks, Creo, etc.) users and also running simulations?

I would also think the 64GB (minimal 32GB) option for RAM will be popular for any CAD users trying to make this a take home "workstation".

I bought the 64gb, i9, 4TB config for this use case (CAD - rhino, turbo, auto)

Didn’t think 32GB would suffice?

MacOS makes significant use of RAM caching with any available RAM. That can be a significant speed up when you're working with large CAD models. Since RAM isn't upgradable *at all* I would strongly recommend spec'ing as much of it as you can afford.

The new graphics cards are a significant improvement in all areas over the Vega cards in the previous generation.

for someone just doing the SOLIDWORKS Certification would baseline be fine? If so which baseline and if not which specs.
