iOS CADisplayLink by Device?

So i've been using CADisplayLink for a while now with an interval of 1 it works like a dream rendering fast and smooth frames.

The iOS reference says it gets called each "refresh rate of the display" but doesn't offer any insight into what that actually is or how it might differ between devices :confused:

Has anyone any experience using CADisplayLink on newer devices, especially iPhone 5S?
