I discovered some days ago that the calculator on my ipod touch is gone. I am pretty sure I didn't delete it, anyone else has this problem?

I jailbroke mines and it disappeared as well. When I did SSH, its in there, and the permissions are set, but it still wont show up.

I found it back. Yes, I jail broke it, of course... The calculator app was at another place on the ipod and I put it back into the same dir as the others apps are. It's working normal again. I think it has something to do with the BigBoss application mover that moves everything to the bigger partiton, it moved this app maybe as well.

Mines is in the correct place and still wont show up.

stuff from January Software Upgrade cant just disappear....

but dont JB your iPod touches, its completely unnecessary and the apps arent that great... just wait for SDK to come out... Since you have the option of no JB and keeping warranty, do so..

iPhone users JB to unlock their iPhones not coz they want apps. We dont want to lose our warranty but are being forced to, you arent.

Very annoying... sorry to say that. When people like to JB their ipods/iphones they do this because they want more, as do I. And some of the apps are really nice. And the SDK will bring new stuff, yes, when the time is there, I will check it out and I can still make the choice then. I don't understand why you have to be the judge here about the JB.

Where do you get it?

And im in colllege, so im not putting anymore money towards the touch.

No money involved, you can get if from the installer, that is, if you JB the touch. Just scroll through all the Packages and search for Poof.
