Calculator app

Searched in the forums and also Google...is there a keyboard shortcut to launch the calculator app in Lion?
Tried to create keyboard shortcut through system prefs but cannot get it to work.
Thanks in advance for your help.

For more simple calculations, you can just use Spotlight (press CMD + spacebar and it will appear at the top right of the screen). After you entered a calculation, you can also hit enter to bring up the calculator.

i just keep it the calculator open on Dashboard and use that whenever its needed. works fastest for me.

Personally, I use Calc Board.
