Today I set up all my Calendars via calDAV. I would also like to set up my contacts with calDAV but start to wonder if I should not do it with google sync?

What is the difference between CalDav & Google Sync? In what case should i use one over the other? What are the drawbacks and advantages of each?

My set up:
- My pro cal on my PC (outlook) syncs to Google cal
- My perso & birthday cal are on Google cal
- I have the 3 cals set up on iCal (main is the pro cal & perso + birthday are delegates)
- I have the 3 set up on my iphone through calDAV

My contacts that are both on my MBP address book & google contact but so far my contacts are synced to my iPhone via iTunes pulling my address books contact. I would like to sync my contact without iTunes but just like my calendars.

What do you recommend?

Thanks
X
