I got a Caldigit Thunderbolt dock and daisy chained a Blackmagic Multidock from it with a Samsun 840 pro 512G drive in the BM. The BM dock is a SATA II device.

I tested the BM directly connected to my imac and speeds are:
345MB/s - 380MB/s W/R

When I daisy chain off the Caldigit (with nothing else in the Caldigit) I get
250MB/s - 325MB/s W/R

Any one else finding slowdowns when daisy chaining TB devices??

You are sharing bandwidth and with the cal digit dock having video it's probably using a lot of bandwidth.

I currently have this chain:
Macmini (2011) -> Caldigit dock -> Areca TB drive array -> displayport monitor

I have an 840 Pro (128 GB) in the Areca array as a pass-through drive, and it registers 385w/495r. I have not tested it without the Caldigit dock in the chain, however.
