Thinking of getting the CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Element Hub for my 16" M3 Pro MBP to connect two external monitors. (I will also be using the internal display as well.) The only thing holding me back is that it has 60W charging. I’m really hoping for a single cable connection. Would 60W be able to keep my MBP charged, or would I likely need to plug in the charger too? Or am I better off getting the TS3+ or TS4 instead?

It is possible for the machines power usage to peak up around the 60W mark if you push it hard but it’s very rare you can get it that high up in consumption. So unless you permanently hammer it to the Max you’ll be fine. (Based on experience with M1 Pro and M1 Max 16”s)
