I'm looking for a thunderbolt hub for my 16 inch M1 Pro and a couple of 4k monitors.

Are there any issues using the Caldigit Element hub with the M1 Pro 16 inch MBP?
I know it's only capable of 60w charging, but will this cause any issues under normal use?

It seems to be a choice between a new Caldigit Element or a used TS3 Plus for similar money. The TS4 isn't in stock anywhere, and is probably a bit out of my budget anyway!

Matt

If you are going to do dual 4K @ 60Hz monitors then the OWC, Satechi or Razer Thunderbolt 4 Docks would work just fine. You only need the Caldigit if you want to do dual ASDs at 5K/60Hz or dual XDR Pro at 6K/60Hz. Also, the above mentioned docks will charge your 16" MBP M1 Pro at 96 watts.

Thanks for the info.

I hadn't considered the OWC. Is this the one?

Yes Sr, that's the one.

There's no difference in display output capabilities of Thunderbolt 4 docks/hubs. If CalDigit can do ASDs at 5K/60Hz or dual XDR Pro at 6K/60Hz then the others can also.
