Caldigit TS3+ SD Card reader defective

Hi,

I tested all my SD cards on this this unit and they do not work. I have three USB C card readers and the cards all work. The TS3+ is a great device and I have it working with multiple monitors on MBP 13" 2019 but this is a dealbreaker. Does anyone else have this problem? I am on OS 10.14.5.

Hi PJNY,

I had to re-set the nvram on my 2016 MBP15 to get the SD card reader to work on my TS3+. Since resetting the NVRAM I have had no more issues with SD card reader on the TS3+. See this article at CalDigit forum:

I heard someone claim it was a cache run away problems causing overflow problems.
