Calendar alerts.

So i have SmartSync which syncs my FB contacts birthdays with my actual contact list and in turn that populates my calendar with the dates. see attached picture. But then I am not able to set any alerts, when I am alerted etc.. any ideas?

i use B-Day Calendar Sync, its good because you dont need to even have that person in your address book to make it work it just makes there birthday an appointment in your calander and you get the normal alerts for their birthday

another thing might be to simple for you not to of thought of but go to your calander then in the top left clikc the Calanders button and make sure Birthdays are checked off

search in app store "bday" and it will be the one with the cake and facebook logo for $0.99

ya looks like smartsync doesn make it a calander event with options to change what time you get the reminder, try the one i suggested works great you can pick what default time to make the birtday alert then you can go in each one and customize that start/end time and when you want the alert

just to confirm this i put in a birthday manually and your have no options for start/end time or alert

use the one i suggested makes birthdays actuall appointments with many options for when you get the alert, only downside is it doeesnt add the info to the contact, infor in the address book

good to hear, just an FYI by default it doesnt make it repeat yearly so you have to go into each calander event and modify that or you can just resync with that app yearly
