Calendar app - how to send out invites

Hi - I've been searching for a while for information on this but can't seem to find any - I have the IPhone 4s, and want to send out an invite to an event that I've created on the calendar. However there is no option to do this.

Please can someone advise me how to do this?

In all my events I can add guests when in edit-mode of the event...
