I'm a Mac/Iphone Newb. Been using Linux for over 10 years and just converted to a Mac and Iphone.
This is the issue.
In MacMail I can click on a date field and use ti to create a iCal entry.
The iCal entry has a "Show in Mail" Hyperlink in the URL field of the iCal entry.
This is great because if you have a phone number in the email that you used to create the iCal entry, its really easy to find!
Now the problem.
My Iphone 4 (w/iOS 5) has the iCal entry. Everything is there and it syncs fine. But....in the URL field I have a "message:< lots of number and letters >" text on that line.
Is it possible to have the same function on my mac on my Iphone where I can have the calendar entry open the email it was generated from?
I believe the answer is NO, but I figure you might be smarter than I am.
