Moving my wife from Google Calendar to iCloud Calendar, I exported each calendar from Google as an ICS file.

When I open the each ICS file to import into Mac Calendar, the event shows up graphically where it should, at the correct time, but if you open the event it shows time based on GMT.

Additionally, in Calendar on iOS 8 on her iPhone, it shows the time and GMT under the name of the event.

Trying to figure out how to get these to show in our local time zone, not GMT based.

Appreciate any ideas.

Thanks

SOLVED!

Instead of exporting the calendars from Google, which caused problem, I added the Google Calendar account to Calendar in Mavericks, then exported them from Calendar, and back into Calendar but to the iCloud account.

All the GMT times are now gone.
