Calendar Invites?

I have always been able to accept calendar events on my apple products before. My office uses outlook and before I would receive an email and I could open the .ics attachment and touch "add to calendar" . I can still do that on my iPad running 6.1.3 but cannot on my iPhone 4s running iOS 7. Any ideas why or what I am doing wrong. First time I have posted so forgive me if this have already been asked and answered.

i have the same problem. i can't accept any or see any invitations at all

I've had a few invites and have had no problems with them, but I did do it a bit differently than you. When I got the invite I accepted it from the Calendar app, not the Mail app.

I have had problems keeping connected to my exchange account though, sometimes push just stops working.
