Calendar Look in Yosemite

Hi,

Does anybody know of a way (either in OS Yosemite or by means of installing a third part app) of improving the contrast and definition in Calendar. I have improved the contrast settings in "Preferences" and that helped greatly to improve the definition and borders in the rest of Yosemite, but Calendar is still a pain to view.

Any help will be appreciated.
