Calendar not syncing

i have 2010 MBP and iPhone 4 both running most up to date software...phone and cloud sync great but not MBP... please help

asuming you're using an iCloud calendar not google etc then:

are you signed into same icloud account in OSX system preferences,

made sure that the Calendar option is ticked in those prefs

in OSX Calendar made sure that the icloud calendar you want to use is ticked?
