Calendar OK on web, double entries on MacBook when sharing with my wife's iPad - Anyone else?

My wife's iPad shows entries OK. but my MacBook has double entries for each entry. Its OK on the web calendar though.

Apple so far have not been able to get around to help yet with all the new bits.

Macbook is on Ventura, iPad is none beta software buy up to date
