Calendar on 3.0

I just have a quick question about the calendar app in 3.0. Does it allow you to flick left and right to change the month (in in month view) or the day (if in day view). I really hate the fact you can't do that and have thought it was stupid to have not had that from day one. I'm thinking of buying pocket informant for this very reason, but I like how seemless calendar syncs with google. Any thoughts?
