calendar or agenda for Mac

I am looking for a calendar program to use on my Mac to replace my Now-Up-To-Date & Contact I have been using for years. I searched for calendars & agenda & pretty much tried most of them. Right now I am looking at something called Preminders. I don't like the iCal at all.
