Calendar Rotating Schedule

I just acquired an iPod touch, 5th gen. My hope is to use this for my school schedule so in the morning when my alarm goes off I will see it is a 1 day. The schedule is a three day rotating schedule, so a 1 Day has classes A, B, C and 2 Day L, M, N and a 3 Day X, Y, Z. My hope was to set this up in calendar on my MBP but I ran into a snag. I can easily set an event to happen every third day, but there is not an ignore weekends option, this obviously throws off the whole thing. Is there some file tucked somewhere that allows for more complex scheduling or a script, or something that can make this work.
