Since updating to Sequoia it looks like my Calendar search (and autocomplete) isn't working anymore.

I can search for an event that just happened and it will just stay stuck at "Searching" for ever. And similarly when creating new events, I normally auto complete the time/location/etc.. from previous versions of events, and now I get nothing popping up.

In System Settings>Spotlight is Events & Reminders checked?
Yeah, everything is checked there.

It feels like something's gotten corrupted somewhere, but in typical Apple fashion, no feedback or obvious way to do anything about it, especially since I'm pulling from iCloud.

It's a search that's not working so my first guess is the Spotlight database. You could try unchecking Events & Reminders…then re-checking it. Maybe a restart in between.

If that doesn't do it I'd try rebuilding the Spotlight database.

Ok, I rebuild the Spotlight database ("sudo mdutil -E /") and that seems to have done the trick!
