I subscribed to my GFs google calendar (she's using a droid but will be getting my iPhone 4 in a couple of months). Anyway, I subscribe to the calendar in iCal on my iMac and it's location is set to my MobileMe account. When she updates her calendar all the changes appear perfectly in iCal but the updates don't appear on my iPhone, just the initial "load" of the data. I've searched the interwebs and the only solution I found was something I had set up originally and that was setting the location in iCal to MobileMe.

I've tried subscribing to the calendar directly on the iPhone (that's where I need it most) but for whatever reason it loads very slowly and when I go back hours or days later into the calendar on the iPhone, scrolling around looking at the list view is PAINFULLY slow. It jumps around and has erratic response. The same thing happens on my iPad if I try subscribing there too. She has anywhere from 6 to 12 calendar entries per day for each of the next few days and updates / adds entries as needed a couple of days in advance. It's not a huge amount of entries so I'm not sure what the problem is. When my ex-wife and I subscribed to each other's iPhone calendars we never had this problem and this was a year ago.

I doubt the problem is with iCal and I'm thinking it's either MobileMe or the iPhone. Does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening and/or how to fix it?

Thanks!
Chris
