Hi - Updated to 4.1 and now my calendar has more of a transparent view to it - the color of the calendar is lighter but now the color of the text is the same color just darker. Anyone else seeing this - is this a new setting that can be adjusted?

Thanks!

Can you explain what you are seeing? Haven't upgraded yet. I always wait to see if there any hidden changes like this.

Usually the calendar blocks are dark and solid. They have become transparent and consequently more pastel versions of the original color. It's purely aesthetic and has no bearing on function.

I'm upgraded to 4.1 and my calendar blocks are still "dark and solid"

Yes calendar is different. I like the new look though, but a week view would have been a better update.

The colors have been changed in all views, but they're most noticeable in the day view.

In the month view, all you see is a small circle denoting the color of the calendar.

With no listing??? 4.0.2 has the calendar color circle with the event time and title. Has that changed?

Some screenshots to differentiate. One is iCal to show the original colors and one is the colors on the new Calendar on 4.1.

Not a fan of these new pastel colours, or at least the first one, which is an awful orange. How do we change the colour palettes again?

I know that those different colors are from MobileMe, but does anyone know how I can do that for my gmail calendar ?
I can't figure out how to make my native calendar sync with the other calendars from my gmail.

They only sync when I make some changes to myemail@gmail.com calendar and not something like Friends/Work/Birthdays that I created on that myemail@gmail.com account. :(

Me too! Wtf is that! First we can't edit colors on the iPhone itself and I have spent a big amount of time turning on/off calendars to have the color rotating to the one I wished (except the embeded iOS4 Birthday calendar on which you can't change anything) AND NOW...instead of RED I have an UGLY pastel PURPLE, instead of GREEN I have a pastel GREEN and insted of BLUE I have a pastel BLUE!

This is simply UGLY and makes me mad...I hope someone smart enough will find a trick or that Apple will fix this...
The PASTEL PURPLE is so ugly...

HELPPPPPPPP!!!
