Did anyone else notice a change in its appearance after upgrading to 10.4.4?

I will attach a screenshot to show you what mine looks like now.

Yup, it should of changed with the 10.4.4 update, as Steve said in the Keynote. I like the new calendar a lot. No more need for iCal to check the dates now.

I was hoping for some iCal integration but I suppose the renaming from iCal Widget to Calendar Widget means that'll never happen.

It's a bit off-topic, but I'm surprised that in all the time since iCal was introduced, they've never made the OS set the correct day to show on the iCal Dock icon on startup. It only changes after you launch iCal.

... and reverts back to Jul 17th when you quit it too. This has mystified me - if it can change the icon when the app is open, can it not stick with the current day when it closes?

If I remember correctly, the date used to remain correct...at least in Panther. With Tiger, the date has always reverted back to July 17th...annoying.

both were good...

I liked the old calendar widget, but I also like the new calendar widget. However, I wish I would have saved the old calendar widget so that I could change back and forth when I felt like it.
