Something small.
I have the time displayed in the menu bar.
When you click on it, it reveals the date [shown in pic].

'View as Analog', 'View as Digital', 'Open Date & Time Preferences'; these can go.
In their place, I would like a small calender, preferably re-sizable.

Nothing fancy. You click on the time, and a small calender appears.
There are separate menu bar apps for calenders, but it would be ideal to incorporate it into just the one.

I use MenuCalendarClock iCal edition. The free version allows the menu bar clock to reveal a calendar, and I use it to also display the date in the menu bar.
