calender lockscreen theme only shows as black?

so i downloaded the calender lockscreen theme and i go into winterboard and select it and respring. and all i see is a black screen. am i doing something wrong?

i see a black screen instead of a lockscreen background or the theme. its not just black and i cant do anything. just to clarify

In the past when I made changes to the Lockscreen, I do a "Reboot" vs "Respring" to get them to take effect. That should work. Good luck.
