Watch had a small hiccup so I unpaired then repaired using backup everything is back to normal but I went to gym and hit indoor run and got the notice to calibrate watch for best results I did this when I first got watch do I need to do it again? Or am I just getting notice because I unpaired it

According to Apple's updated support article for watchOS 2 that shouldn't be happening. See for your self here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204518

While it says on that page calibration will be included in the backup my real world experience has not proven that to be the case. I have paired my watch again roughly 6 times since having it and each time, a new calibration is requested.

Just like mine sadly
