I do a moderate amount of graphics work and I decided to finally jump on the 2.2 gamma bandwagon to assure my work is displayed properly on most machines. So I went through the color utility and calibrated with advanced settings, dragging the sliders, setting the white point to d65 and the gamma to 2.2. However, now the display looks FAR too saturated, if not a little dark. Grays have a slight purplish tint to them and my test image still looks completely different on both of my PCs. It's almost as if a lot of the yellow values were extracted from the image when I put them on a PC. For example, a very orange sunset image on my Mac looks more like late afternoon on my PCs.

Any ideas? I though calibrating color would be relatively simple but it's turned out to be a nightmare!
