Calibrating Battery?

Hi everyone! I would like to know how is the exact way to calibrating battery? Is that simple run it empty and fill it up again? Thanks

Since someone has started a question about calibrating the battery . . . Per the 5th step prior to charging the battery, "Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or more."

Is it better to simply turn off the computer and charge the battery or allow the computer to be in sleep mode for some 5 hours first?

No difference or shouldn't matter. If it would have made a difference or if a method was better than the other, Apple would've stated which but since it's given to you as an option, one method isn't better than the other.
