I am getting back on to the PPC badwagon. Recently got a G4 dual 1.25 up and runninga nd now fixing up a dual 2.0 G5 (might be able to get a dual core 2.3 as well)

How do I run a thermal calibration? When is it needed? thanks

To run the thermal calibration you need a copy of the Apple Service Diagnostic which your local Authorized Service Provider can run for you. Unless you've replaced the processors or logicboard, you really shouldn't need to run it.

Do I have to go to the store or is it available for purchase anywhere?

thanks
