California watch face complication bug with AOD

Ever since Watch OS 7 came out there is a bug with the California watch face but only with specific colors with always on display enabled. The activity complication for example will not be visible when display is dim/wrist down. When raising the wrist or waking the screen the complication pops up. This only affects Light titanium, gold, mango and warm gray colors. Every other color combo works fine and the complication is visible as it should be when display is dimmed.

This seems more like an oversight, than a bug per se.

I tried to reproduce the issue with a few of the colors you mentioned and the complications seem to work fine for me. I’ve been using that watch face just about every day since I got my series 6 and have never seen anything out of the ordinary.
