California watch face dark blue

Hi!
I was watching a YouTube review of the midnight blue sport loop, and I thought it matched beautifully with the dark blue California watch face. So, I got the sport loop, but I can’t find the dark blue California watch face anywhere.. is that a Series 5 color only? I have series 4 and the California watch face, but not the dark blue color shown in this screenshot..

Isn’t the default California watch face navy blue? Could it just be the lighting in the picture?

On my S5 it’s medium blue. No Navy blue.

Yes, I get the navy blue option in my watch face list, but I thought the watch face in the video looked a lot darker.. but, as you say, it could be the lighting and/or angle that makes it appear that way.. (or I was wondering if perhaps the series 5 had a different shade of blue to the California watch face as it offers an always-on verison of the watch face). But thanks a lot for all the replies!

No. An AOD version will turn blue background to black.

It's just the lighting in the video. There's only one shade of blue for the California face and it's the same on the series 4 and 5.

Must agree with your opinion on the color. The screenshot makes it look dark and rich like a sunburst dark blue dial

We might be out of luck, but if we request that color at Apple, they might add it.
