Normally I put my watch on in the dark. This morning I noticed black spots appearing which look like where the magnet peaks are.

Is anyone else seeing this? Should I be sending it back for a replacement? It’s very disappointing for a premium strap.

can you clean them off?

do you work around, or are you exposed to ferrous metal dust?

if its just "dirt" that happens to accumulate there, how is it poor design or assembly?

No they don’t clean off and I am office based (home at the moment) so no metal dust.

Apple are looking into it as they have no reports of this yet. I’m not surprised though as I have only had my strap for 34 days so i guess there is time for others to raise the issue.

Expecting a call back on Tuesday. Got to love how good Apple customer service is.
