Hi, my friend is persistently getting calls from a 'prank' caller and asked me if i knew a way of blocking an individual number from calling her on her iPhone.

I have searched some documentation and have not been able to find anything

does anybody have any ideas on if this can be done and how?

If the phone is jailbroken then you could iBlacklist. If it's not, then your friend would need to call the carrier and see if they can do anything about it. Last I recalled, they could block certain phone numbers from calling but it was something like $5 a month for that service. Not sure if that's changed at all but this might be one route your friend would want to look at.

If you're on AT&T you can use AT&T Smart Limits which is $5 per month. It allows you to block certain numbers from calling you among other things.
