I live in Canada with an iPhone through Rogers. When I get a call from somebody who is not in my address book, it ONLY shows their name and NOT their number...is it supposed to do this? This is stupid...

If they don't have a "name" attached, then it will show their number. If I don't answer their call, then I can see their number under missed calls. Is this normal? Why can't it show their name AND number when they call?

You might have that Name Display thing from Rogers.

Hmmm... but even if you answer the call, shouldn't it show the number in Recent Calls if you tap the blue arrow?

They probably have the real answer, dial 611 and see what they say :D

Yeah I have call display w/ name display. Yeah I can see the number in recent calls, I cant see the number while they are phoning me though!
