Call distortion and visual voicemail 'bug' back!?

Since updating iPhone 8 to 11.1 I am affected by (from a user perspective) call distortion/dropped calls and visual voicemail issues similar to the pre 11.0.1 bug fix. Anyone else having similar issues?
