Not sure if this is an iPhone 8+ issue, ios11 or a combination of both.
Was on the phone in town at lunch today and as I went out of the public wifi range, the phone call I was on just cut off. Full 4G signal available but there was just no switchover, I had to redial...
Is this related to the watch wifi connection issue does anyone know and is there a fix coming?

That happened to be prior to iOS 11. My guess is that cause the call started using the WiFi once you lost it and went to LTE that was enough to cut you off cause it didn’t grab the tower fast enough.

That happened before WiFi calling was around when I used a network extended at home which was plugged in with an Ethernet cable band with WiFi calling (bottom line both using WiFi) and it didn’t matter if I was home and leaving while on the same call and vice versa.

Here’s another scenario I’m home and have my wifi on my Apple Music goes on in the car I get 500 feet away and the music cuts for like 1 second
