Call failed as soon as I pick up?

hi there, I have the Apple Watch series 4 SS, 60% of the times when I answer a call using my watch it fails immediately, it’s annoying, I have ATT.
I don’t have this issue when answering using my phone, only when I use my watch.

I’ve unpaired and repaired...nothing.
Any additional suggestions or do I have to return this?

Are you answering the call when the device is within range of the iPhone? Or answering the call with the Watch with activated eSIM with the iPhone out of range?

Answering while the iPhone is within range like in my pocket, so it’s convenient me pressing the watch..:
