I am like a bunch of you who's package has been stuck in Alaska for over a day...well to find out where it really is call fedex at 800-463-3339 and enter your tracking number in the automated system and it tell you where it really is. It told me mine is on the way to my zicode and will be delivered on the 23rd!!! So give this a try!!! It worked for me!!

what the delivery date on your online tracking ? inst it the same as what the automated message read you ?!?

or is it say 24 on the online tracking system and 23 on the phone ???
 
When I called, it said the package was on its way to my zip code and scheduled for delivery on the 24th by 4:30pm. It is the same information from the Fedex website in my case.

I really hope this information is wrong considering that I received the email from Apple stating that I would get my phone on the 23rd.
 
Man, Apple should have sent out an email or something telling us that it would be delivered on June 23rd regardless of what the FedEx status page said. Then we wouldn't have to waste our time and bug the FedEx people all day. Too bad no one at Apple thought to do that.
 
None of the packages are actually stuck, FedEx just doesn't update everything at the exact same time. FedEx is really good with delivering lots of packages, no need to call and bother them. If your package does indeed get stuck, it will be in a big machine at their hub probably and it will crush your phone into dust, so even then calling won't help.
 
Maybe there should be a thread about Zen and the Art of the iPhone Launch.

You phone is not stuck but sometimes the tracking info is.

Remain calm, you call did not unstuck your phone!:eek:
 
Thanks for the tip! Mine was stuck in Alaska via the website, but I called and found that it's actually en route to my local sorting facility. Sweet!
 
Thanks for the advice. Apple was originally shipping to the wrong address and the automated lady told me it's coming to my real address now. It does say the 24th, but says on the way to the facility in my area code. So we shall see if I receive tom or Thursday (I got an email saying that it should be tom).
 
Hmm, just tried...online it says it’s still in Alaska, but on the phone they said it’s on route the local FedEx station, and should get here tomorrow. Here’s hoping that’s right...
 
When I tracked my phone on the FedEx website, the last update said that it had been picked up from the Ft. Worth facility at 6 AM. I called and talked to a real person and she informed me that the phone was actually at the hub right here in Memphis and even apologized for it not being delivered to me today. unless something weird happens, I will have my phone tomorrow.
 
hmmmm automated message told me

"your package is on route to Zip Code and will be delivered by noon tommorow"

Isn't every package on route to the zip code it was ordered from.....don't see where this told me anything different then what it says online. It will be delivered by 23 June by noon.

Im going to call fed ex and see if they can patch me through to the pilot...
 
Looking like some will still be delivered on the 24th, at least mine that is. Just contacted Fed Ex and talk with a representative about my delivery. My last update was out of AK at 3:20 on the 21st. The Rep informed me that it was diverted to Indy due to weather and that scheduled delivery would be the 24th. Informed her of my confirmation as to date being upgraded to the 23rd and she had no answer. She then transfered the call to International tracking and she gave me the same info. Guess we will wait and see. This is killing me.
 
Mine is en route to my zip code, but won't be here until the 24th. I hope that it's wrong and tomorrow is the date of arrival.
