Recently I changed the length of time my iphone 5 rings for on incoming calls to 25s by calling **61*901*11*25# (UK O2 network). Since then, every time I turn my phone off and then back on again or do a soft reset the call forwarding icon appears at the top of the screen.

If I go into settings to the call forwarding section the call forwarding is already set to off, and as soon as I enter this screen the icon disappears.

Does anyone know why this is happening. I have no call forwarding set up and even when the call forwarding icon is showing I can still receive calls as normal.

Yeah, it's no major issue I'd just like to know why it's happening. Plus it's not good for my OCD ;)

Call forwarding also has option to enable when unreachable or busy, etc ... its carrier dependent .. you should speak to O2 and ask them to reset all call fwd at their end

I'm with Three and having the same issue with my iPhone 5. I haven't changed ANY settings so it's not a network issue...

Hmmm, that's interesting. That's even stranger than mine if you've not changed anything.

I think I'll still pop to O2 though just to see if they've heard of it before. I need to go anyway as over the last few days I've been getting some weird answerphone messages, and what's even more strange is that I'm not getting any missed call logs prior to receiving these messages
