I've got my watch on AT&T and dialing domestic numbers, I'm able to do so, but my watch seems to kick back an error when I dial international numbers (My fiancee lives in China at the moment, so I call China a lot, and I have the AT&T East Asia calling package on my phone number).

I then looked around for how to dial FaceTime Audio, but can't seem to launch facetime audio on the watch at all? I've tried going through contacts, but it only offers me the call option, and no facetime audio option.

Try using Siri to "FaceTime audio call" followed by the name of the person. That's what I always use and it works for me. (Granted on Wi-fi as I have a series 2, but still)

No need to use the word “call,” either. Just, “FaceTime audio *person’s name.*”
