So I just put in my brand new Radeon 9800 Pro today and did a bunch of different game tests, Doom 3, Knights of the Old Republic, Call of Duty: United Offensive, etc.
The card has more than lived up to my expectations. So I put in Call of Duty 2, selected "Easy" difficuly, and began. I had everything set on max and it was playing very well.
Then it frose. About half an hour into the game it just frose, the sound stopped and the video stopped at the exact same time. I forced the computer to shut down, started it back up, and continued the game. About 20 minutes later, the sound stoppes and about 10 seconds later the video stopps as well.
It's not that serious an issue as it only happens once in a while, and it hasn't happened since that second time, even though i've been playing for another 20 minutes or so, but does anyone know of this issue? Is there a patch I should have downloaded?
