Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Black Textures

When I play Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat on my MacBook, certain environments and squad members are made up of black textures.

On the whole it runs okay but I do get black textures quite frequently.

How can I fix that?

MacBook early 2008 version: 2.1Ghz Core 2 Duo, Penryn. 4GB Ram, Intel GMA X3100 graphics card.

It is the Mac version that I'm playing under OS X 10.5.8 (not the Windows version via Boot Camp).
