I have a macbook pro 17inch model mid 2010. it has the nvidia geforce gt 330m, 8 gb of ram, 500 gb hd, 2.66 i7. I bought cod 4 from the mac app store and when i play the multiplayer at my native resolution 1920x1200 with all settings pretty much at max i get about 25-30 fps, this computer should be running cod4 with 60+ fps. i know macs aren't made for gaming, being i bought this from the mac app store is there anyway of being able to play this game on windows without purchasing it again. Also, is there anything i can do to boost my fps, besides lower res/settings.

Thanks

No, you will not get 60+ fps with the 330M at 1920x1200. Lower the detail settings or lower the resolution if you want higher frame rates. Nothing else you can do.

You will have to buy the game again if you want to play it on Windows. Apps purchased on the Mac App Store can only be used on OS X.

Where do you check the FPS? The reason I ask is I have a 2011 13 inch MBP base model, I upgraded the ram to 8GB. I bought Modern Combat Domination from the app store and it works very well. I play multi player online and use a PS3 remote.
