Call of Duty 4 w/ 360 Gamepad

Has anyone tried out this Xbox 360 Controller Driver with Call of Duty 4?

Its free and it works with the wired xbox 360 controller. Curious to know if it works with any games on the mac. It might also be possible (once the driver is installed) to use the controller with GameCompanion for games that do not support gamepads as an alternate solution.

He mentions you need gamepad companion in the video, I'm assuming you need the 360 driver also.
