Sales woman told me the iPhone 4S will be at our doors either the 11th or 12th and that the 14th date is for those who want to buy it at the store.

Sales people rarely ever know anything that the public doesn't know about the release of Apple products. :eek: So we can hope they will ship earlier to arrive on the 14th or sooner, but we don't know.
 
A sales rep who knows more than Apple or FedEx combined? Where else but AT&T?

She said "i know it will be at your door either the 11th or 12th. And every representative will tell you that sir." I confirmed it like 3 times before the conversation ended. She said "there won't be any problems that you may have experienced in the past. There wont be an error message or insufficient stock, you order it and it will be there before it reaches the stores on the14th."

hoenstly thats what she said- and some other things.

Honestly, I hope you don't believe what an at&t sales person tells you.
 
It only makes sense, take the load off the servers for activating. Especially since it is PC-Free now, more people may be activating at any given time.
 
also sent my iphone 4 to "poweron" some company that reuses iphone and gives you a gift card to apple store. you can find the link on the buy iphone section of apple store webpage. anyway sent it out yesterday and have been using a crappy old phone since then and now i will have a gift card with $180 on it next week with nothing to buy because i will buy the iphone 4s tonight =(
