Called ATT about abysmal 3G speeds, received magic fix

ATT told me something about my tower being under repair then he sent me some magic update to my phone and 3G speeds magically increased. Sounds more like he provisioned my phone to not be under ATTs stealth bandwidth capping.

If you are having 3G speed issues in high reception areas, I suggest calling .

This is what happens with all telcos around the world. They will provide the 'magic fix' to customers who care to call them up and leave the rest with sub-par services.

I'm almost 100% sure they are capping download speeds because my upload speed before the fix would always be at least three times faster than my download.
