Called Sprint and unlocked my 4s

I just called sprint to unlock my 4s. Will any carriers be able to use it now in the US? Or only international? Can I now sell it on eBay as an unlocked iphone 4s and hopefully get more money so I can put it towards a 5?

it's still locked to Sprint here in the US but unlocked internationally.

A phone being locked really doesn't matter IMO if you're still in a contract.

Even if it's unlocked, you'll still have to pay monthly wireless bills.

Well i know that. I am just trying to see if I can sell on ebay so as an unlocked phone for overseas to get the most money to cushion my out of contract purchase of the 5.

I have also sprint iphone 4s but because of i am not costumer of the Sprint they dont unlock my phone. Can you help me please i can pay you some
