When a call comes in, most of my contacts show a full screen caller ID. So that Im mostly ok with, however, the crop of the picture seems to be affected by if go to contact and edit the photo to keep it in the editing/selection circle.

During a call, if you back out to the lock screen, for some contacts you see the full screen caller id vs. others you see just the little pictures in a circle in the upper right corner of the screen. Can't figure out how to change this one way versus the other.

Anyone have any ideas?

I believe it depends on the pixel dimensions of picture you use for a contact that determines if it's a circle, or full screen.

I thought so too, but a mere 150x150 pixel photo associated with a contact, shows up as full screen for me.

I have no idea if this is true or not but I posted the same question a while ago about full screen vs the square picture in previous os. Someone said it depends on where the picture was uploaded to the contact. If it was added on the mac for instance to the address book and synced then it's one way, if it was added on the phone to the contact list it is the other way.

Again, I have no idea if this is true, I never validated it, just passing along what I had heard. Let me know if you find anything out.

Also, on a side note, has anyone noticed how you can add a picture to a contact and crop that circle perfectly around the face but then on other devices that sync with your icloud the circle is in a different place? For instance, the head is cut off, but on the iPhone it's still perfect but on my iPad and other iPhone it's not quite right???
