Caller ID not working

When I get I call from some of my contacts it shows up as Unknown even though I have a Caller ID. I asked them to check if the "Show my caller ID" option was turned on on their phone and it was.
Does anyone has the same problem? Is there a solution to it?

I have the same issue. All new incoming calls who I have verified to have caller ID are showing up as "unknown" for me.

Are these callers within your contact list? Does it show the number and Unknown or Just Unknown only?

I've had that randomly. My best friend called, and even though he is in my contacts, it showed no name. It seems to be okay now. I figured it was a network issue.

No these numbers are not in my contact list.

There are just new numbers. Why cant I see the actual number of the caller?

I tried calling from my work phone to my iphone and it shows up as "unknown"

Are you by chance on Verizon? This has been a known issue at times.

Another solution you can try is Restart the iphone - (hold down the top lock button until "slide to power off" appears)

I as we'll have att and never had this problem. Have you tried resetting phone (Home + Power button)?

If still not working id call them (Att) or go by store.
